An experienced educator with a Master’s degree in education from Wheelock College in Boston and an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults, Mary has taught preschoolers through college students. She is now a K-3 Literacy Coach at a Cape Cod elementary school.

Mary has been a preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher, and special education teacher. She is now a Literacy Coach in a K-3 elementary school.

College teaching:

Mary has taught at three different colleges over the years: Cape Cod Community College, Bridgewater State University, and Fisher College in Boston. Courses include Poetry in the Early Childhood Classroom, Children’s Literature,  Literacy & the Young Child, Reading and Writing Cape Cod.
